A Very Tuba Christmas

This holiday season I found a new tradition that rivals the Christmas Cabaret last year.

The annual Christmas Tuba Concert at Rockefeller Center was something I saw in The Skint last year but for some reason couldn’t attend. So when it came around this year I couldn’t pass it up.

And thank goodness I didn’t! IT WAS AWESOME.

A bunch of tuba players from around the state heard the cry for tuba music and accepted and they all showed up at Rockefeller Skating Rink. They practiced for a little bit- and then they performed all together for the enjoyment of about 800 people including us lovely friends.

This will be a yearly tradition now for as many years as I stay in New York City. We had a blast and a half.

Don’t believe me? ENJOY!
