Home & Hair

Well Happy post-Thanksgiving everyone. I hope everyone’s bellies are protruding as much as mine (mostly just so I don’t feel so self conscious).

I’m currently sitting in the O’Hare airport (ie: worst airport of all time) so I figured now is a great time to share my Thanksgiving with you. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a whole lot of quality pictures. Seriously, I don’t know if it was because I was drunk with happiness/food drunk/or just plain drunk, but my photos stank.

I had a great time. For the first time since I moved to NYC I did Thanksgiving out of the city (see T-Days of old here and here). And as always, it was great to be home in Tennessee. The lake, the mountains, the accents- all give me the warm fuzzies inside.

I caught up with old friends, spent lots of time with my family, went on hikes in the great outdoors, sang karaoke, and ate Buddy’s BBQ (the BEST).

Y’all there ain’t nothin’ better than yer pickup truck, BBQ and yer dog dad.

Oh and I got my hair cut. Not a real big deal but since it’s one of the only photos I took I thought I’d share. I mean… That was the longest my hair was EVER so maybe it is a little bit of a big deal.

Anywho- thanks for burning some layover time with me. I hope your thanksgivings were made of as many lovely memories, weird dinner conversations and glorious carbs as mine was.

Goodbye sweet mountains… Until next time!
